About Gregg Downey
Welcome to the realm of golf wisdom, where Gregg Downey, a seasoned golfer of five decades, unveils the secrets, frustrations, and triumphs of the game. If you've never contemplated hanging up your clubs at least once a week—or better yet, once a day—then you haven't truly experienced the emotional rollercoaster that is golf. It has a unique knack for pushing players to the brink of despair and back again.
Reflecting on my journey from a 12-year-old novice to a seasoned veteran, golf has always held a special allure. Despite my modest physical stature and a lack of standout athleticism in other sports, I found solace and challenge on the greens. Perhaps it was that fleeting exchange with Arnold Palmer during the 1975 Greater Greensboro Open that ignited my passion, a simple acknowledgment that left an indelible mark.
Over the course of half a century—spanning junior competitions, college tournaments, globetrotting adventures, and balancing golf with a "real job"—I've amassed a wealth of experience. Now, I aim to distill that knowledge to guide, rescue, and enlighten fellow golfers on their own journeys, regardless of their aspirations.

In just one hour Gregg transformed my golf swing from hitting the ball anywhere but straight to hitting shots I never thought I could have hit. He was very clear and helped relate golf to other parts of my life so that I can understand the objective of my swing. I am already planning on at least two more lessons with Gregg and I would recommend him to anyone that wants to fix/work on their swing.

I really enjoyed my golf lesson with Greg. Can't recommend enough. I can't wait to have him help me again. I love the video he sent me after.
